Buibee continues developing innovative mobile applications for dominant platforms in the market. The last one is the D-Fiesta application, developed as an internal project to the iPhone platform, Android and BlackBerry.

Thinking about the needs of users, D-Fiesta has been created as an interactive guide about the most interesting festivals held in Spain. Besides its informational value, the application combines additional features that make it an innovative and useful application.

As most remarkable points in the development of the application we can mention the following:


- Design adapted to mobile platforms
The application design has been carried out taking into account the latest trends, performing the appropriate adjustments taking into account each of the platforms.

- Connection with External Web Services
Given that the information handled by the application is almost entirely dynamic, we had to implement a webservice communication to serve the information required.

An example is the information from the parties that exist in a given locality, the party-specific information, comments and images of the parties ...

- Connecting to internal SQLite Database
The application integrates an internal database to facilitate information management, so that performance is improved by optimizing the load times of certain information.

- Geo
The application locates all parties using Google Maps.

- Friends and social networks
D-Fiesta is integrated with major social networks Facebook and Twitter to spread information of the parties, checkins made by users and even to use them to find friends who also are registered in the application.

- Private Area
From the private section of "My Profile" link, users can update your avatar, access to the images they have uploaded to the application, see the last checkins made and find your friends who use D-Fiesta
